AIIMS Bilaspur
In Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, there is a public hospital and medical school called the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur. As one of the newest AIIMS in India, it is a public institute of national importance that was founded as part of the PMSSY's Phase-V initiative. At the moment, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, is overseeing the operations of AIIMS Bilaspur.
Currently, a 5.5-year MBBS programme is available at AIIMS Bilaspur. The programme has a total seat intake of 50 and is offered under various departments. NEET entrance exam results are used to determine admission to the MBBS programme at AIIMS Bilaspur, which is followed by counselling.

The MBBS programme at the undergraduate level is available at AIIMS Bilaspur for 5.5 years. The programme has a total of 50 seats available across 16 specialisations. AIIMS Bilaspur MBBS Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for MBBS admission at AIIMS Bilaspur:
- Candidates must have received at least a 60% overall grade in English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics in their 12th grade from a reputable board.
- Candidates need to be of Indian descent and at least 17 years old.
- Candidates who are waiting on results in their final year may also apply.
- Categories for SC/ST will receive a 5% relaxation.

AIIMS Bilaspur Placement:
The placement cell at AIIMS Bilaspur works with regional, governmental, and international research organisations. A one-year internship is a requirement for applicants to the MBBS programme. The students receive a stipend of up to INR 25,000 during the internship period. However, graduates from this institution will find employment at reputable hospitals without much difficulty. Once candidates have their medical practitioner certificate in hand, they may open their own chamber.
