In 1999, the Bhagwant Institute of Technology (BIT) was founded. The institute is situated in the Uttar Pradesh city of Muzaffarnagar. At the UG level, BIT offers BCA and MBA programmes are available at the PG level.

Three Universities are affiliated with BIT for various courses:

The Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Lucknow offers courses in MBA.

For a polytechnic course, consult the Board of Technical Education in Lucknow (BTE).

For BBA and BCA programmes, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU).Students must submit their applications online for all courses.

• The UPSEE will be used to fill 85% of the seats in the MBA(Lateral Entry) programmes.
• The remaining 15% of seats will be filled based on how well candidates perform on the qualifying exam.
• The GATE exam or university entrance exam are used to select students for the M.Tech programme.
• Admission to other courses is based on passing a qualifying exam.
• Candidates from other states should only receive a minimum of 25% of the available seats.

Qualifying examination results are used to determine admission to the UG and Polytechnic programmes offered by Bhagwant Institute of Technology.

Candidates must have received at least 45% on their HSC exam in order to be considered for admission to the BBA and BCA programmes. Candidates for Polytechnic technical programmes in Mechanical (Production) and Civil should have completed the tenth grade with a science-related

course.

Candidates for admission to the MCA and MBA programmes must have graduated from college in any discipline with at least a 50% grade point average. Candidates for the MCA programme should also be proficient in mathematics at the 10+2 or graduate level.

Candidates for the second year of the MCA (Lateral Entry) programme must have earned a BCA or a B.Sc. (IT/CS) with at least a 50% grade point average.

UPSEE is used as the basis for selection. Candidates for the MBA(Lateral Entry) courses must take papers 9, 10, and 11 respectively.

Note: There are 100 objective questions for 400 points in each of papers 9 (MBA), 10 (MCA), and 11 (MCA Lateral Entry).

Offline application is available at Muzaffarnagar's Bhagwant Institute of Technology (BIT).

• The application form is available for download from the website or can be picked up from admissions centres by candidates.
• Completely fill out the form and mail it to the office.
• The application form should be sent to The Admission Coordinator at Bhagwant Institute of Technology (UP) along with any required enclosures and a DD for INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST/PD/Females Candidate) payable at Kaithora.
• Upon application receipt, an email acknowledgment will be sent.
