    Applicants to the undergraduate B.Tech. programmes at Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut are admitted based on their performance in the JEE exam, a national level entrance exam that the IITs jointly administer. Candidates from the state of Uttar Pradesh may also apply based on their performance in the UPSEE, a state-level exam that is held each year.

    To be eligible to apply, candidates must have completed the science stream at the 10+2 level. Before final admission is processed, chosen candidates must submit all original documentation for verification.

    The 3-hour JEE Advanced exam consists of 90 questions that cover every topic pertinent to the engineering field.
