Located in Karur, Tamil Nadu, the Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology, or CCET, is a private university. Founded in 2007, Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology, Karur is associated with Anna University, Chennai. The institute admits 438 students per year for its BE, ME, and MBA programmes.

Postgraduate courses in business administration and engineering are also available from CCET. Students are admitted to postgraduate studies through CCET based on their performance in the state entrance test, TANCET, which is administered by Anna University.
Candidates from the reserved categories will receive a 5% relaxation.
An MBA programme requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50% (45% for protected categories) as the minimal educational requirement.
applicants with a valid GATE score must apply using the different forms meant for applicants who meet the requirements for the GATE.
Candidates who meet the GATE requirements are exempt from taking the written entrance exam.

The two-hour entrance exam will be administered in an offline format. Applications for the same must be filed offline, and all of the questions will be objective in nature.

- In the case of unreserved categories, the application fee for MBA and M.E. is INR 500.
- After the candidates' entrance exam scores have been normalised, the TANCET rank will be determined.
- Candidates must attend the TANCA counselling procedure after the counselling schedule is released in order to have their documents verified, their seats assigned, and the admissions process confirmed.

- Through the official website, candidates can apply for the TANCET and TNEA exams and counselling.
- Candidates must register for the TANCET exam using a working phone number, email address, and password.
- For TANCET, the application fee is INR 250 for students in the restricted category and INR 500 for general candidates.
- The application cost may be paid online using net banking or with a debit or credit card.
- Candidates must register on the official webpage, filling out their personal information and academic qualifications, in order to apply for the TNEA.

Library: The Central Library boasts a distinctive resource collection and first-rate, cutting-edge facilities. It uses AUTOLIB, a library software, to automate all of its housekeeping tasks. Users can now look up and use the library's materials thanks to this.
Hostel: Each hostel has a certain capacity and there are distinct hostels for males and girls. Accommodations are given to students according to availability and first-come, first-served policy.
