CMAT Exam 2022 Provisional Answer Key Released

Huge update for CMAT aspirants!

Yesterday i.e. on 19th April 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer keys for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2022. Students can check the same on the official website which is https://cmat.nta.nic.in/

They can not just access the answer keys but also the question papers and their responses/answers to check their scores.

In order to access the provisional answer keys of the CMAT Exam 2022, students need to enter their “Application Number” as well as “Date of Birth”. This exam was held earlier this month i.e. 9th April 2022.

What Happens Now?

The NTA has given the deadline of 21st April 2022 until when the candidates can raise their objections if any. Students can do so till 11:50 PM of the deadline date. However, for each objection, students need to pay a total of INR 200/objection.

“The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm up to 21 April 2022 (up to 11:50 p.m.). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The Challenges will not be accepted through any other medium.” - says the NTA statement

Further, each objection will be verified by a “Panel of Subject Experts” and if confirmed correct, the appropriate revisions will be made. This will be followed by the preparation of the Final Answer Key with the changes. Candidates will NOT be informed about whether or not their challenge has been accepted.

It needs to be kept in mind that the key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

How to Download Answer Key

To access the provisional answer keys of CMAT 2022, students 1st need to visit the official website i.e https://cmat.nta.nic.in/ and then follow the steps below -

1.   Click on the tab that says “Display Question Paper and Answer Key Challenge 2022” link.
2.   Select the preferred login method. There’s an option between either logging in through password or through D.O.B.
3.   Enter the login credentials 
4.   Click on “Sign In”

This will display the CMAT 2022 Provisional Answer key on the screen.

How to Raise Objections

The process to make objections is a seemingly simple and straightforward process. Candidates need to state and select the question number that they choose to challenge. After doing so, they need to select the alternate answer that they think should be the right one.

Furthermore, they need to upload the requisite document(s) that the site asks for. Once this is done, the candidates need to pay the required fees to complete the process.
