    Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering (DCE), which was founded in 2001–2002, is associated with Anna University in Chennai and has AICTE approval. Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering (DCE) now provides three postgraduate and six undergraduate programmes in a range of specialisations.

    • Candidates for the BE/B.Tech programme must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in the science stream, with the primary subjects being physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
    • Applicants who have earned a diploma from an establishment recognised by the government are also welcome to apply.
    • Online counselling is provided by the Tamil Nadu government for all programmes.
      Anna University's online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) ranking is used to determine admission to UG degrees.
    • Applicants to the M.E./MBA programme must have graduated from an accredited university with a degree in engineering or an equivalent.
    • In order to be considered for admission to a postgraduate programme, candidates must pass the appropriate UG examination offered by Anna University or an equivalent exam as stated by the Tamil Nadu Common Admission criteria (TANCA).
    • The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), which is administered by Anna University in Chennai on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government, is the basis for admission to postgraduate courses in the state.
    • Applicants must take the TANCET test in order to be considered for admission to the MBA and M.E. programmes at SXCCE.
    • The required application, which can be downloaded from the internet or obtained on campus with the prospectus, must be used to apply for admission.
