    In 2004, the DY Patil University School of Ayurveda was founded. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi, the Department of AYUSH, and the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) have all given their approval.     Four courses are offered in 12 specialisations at the DY Patil University School of Ayurveda in Navi Mumbai. The college offers undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the study of ayurveda. The prerequisites differ depending on the course. The students are chosen based on their performance in the entrance exams and the KLEU-AIET or AIAPGET cut-off for UG or PG programmes, respectively.
