The Sisters of St. Joseph's Society of Lyons are the administrators of Fatima College, a catholic minority institution in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, which was founded in 1953. The college, which is associated with Madurai Kamaraj University, provides a range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Admission to its various UG and PG programmes is still open and is based on merit; however, TANCET (CEETA PG) scores will be used for admission to the MCA and MBA programmes.
In addition to B.A. programmes in seven different fields, the college also offers B.Sc. programmes in eight different areas, B.Com., B.B.A., and B.C.A. Furthermore, the institute provides postgraduate courses including M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Sc. in six disciplines, M.Com., and MSW in addition to M.A. in four streams. In addition to undergraduate and graduate courses, the college offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes.

- Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the in-person interview as well as their merit.
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 in relevant subjects from any recognised board in order to be considered for admission to UG courses.
- The CAT, MAT, and CMAT scores are used to select candidates for MBA programmes.
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from any accredited university with at least 50% of the required points to be admitted to the MBA programme.

- The upper age limit is 23 years old, and candidates must have turned 17 by July 1st of the academic year at the latest.
- Applicants for UG courses may also be those who are taking the final year exams.

In addition to M.A. in four streams, M.Sc. in six disciplines, M.Com, and MSW, Fatima College in Madurai offers master's degrees in M.B.A., M.C.A., and M.Sc. (IT & Management). The primary requirement for applying to postgraduate programmes is that candidates must have graduated from any accredited university with a bachelor's degree in relevant subjects and 50% of the possible points.
While TANCET scores are used to determine admission to MCA and M.Sc. programmes (IT and management), CAT, MAT, and CMAT scores are used to select candidates for M.B.A. programmes. The remaining PG courses are admitted on the basis of merit, subject to seat availability.

- Candidates who hold a B.C.A. or B.Sc. in computer applications or information technology may apply for direct lateral entry admission to the M.C.A. second year.
- Applicants who fall under the SC/ST categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation on their qualifying examination total score.
- The college uses counselling to select students for this course based on merit.
Fatima College, Madurai Application Process
Candidates must register online via the official website in order to be considered for admission to Fatima College in Madurai. However, applicants for admission to the M.B.A., M.C.A., MSc., and Ph.D. programmes need to register for the GATE/ UGC-NET/CSIR-NET and CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ TANCET, respectively.
In order to be admitted to the college, applicants must take the actions listed below:

- Candidates may also obtain the same through mail by sending a 500 INR bank draft made payable to "The Principal, Fatima College, Madurai" via postal mail.
