GATE 2022 Exam Tomorrow: Check Last Minute Tips And COVID-19 Protocols

The Supreme Court has already announced that the GATE 2022 will not be postponed. It will be conducted as per the schedule and according to it, the examination is on 5th Feb, 2022. 

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur is going to conduct the GATE Exam 2022 from tomorrow i.e. February 5. It will be conducted online in two shifts at 202 exam centers across India. The first shift will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, while they will conduct the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 p.m.

GATE Exam will cover a total of 29 subjects, it will be asked in different shifts. Computer Science & Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering exam will be conducted on the first shift on February 5, while Electrical Engineering and Mathematics exam will be conducted on the second shift later that day.

Candidates who are going to attend the examination are advised to check paper pattern, exam day instructions and documents required.

GATE Exam 2022: Last Minute Tips

• Candidates are informed to reach the examination centre one hour before the GATE 2022 exam commencement.
• Recheck to carry the admit card and valid identity proof for GATE 2022 while leaving for the examination centre.
• Candidates are not allowed to sit in the examination hall half an hour before the exam commencement. Hence, reach before the deadline.
• Don't carry calculators for the GATE exam 2022, as it will be an on-screen calculator for numerical calculations. 
• Students get rough sheets through the invigilators. Submit the rough sheet back after the exam gets over.
• Keep the GATE 2022 admit card for future references.

GATE Exam 2022: COVID-19 Protocols

Candidates are requested to follow all the COVID-19 related protocols before entering into the examination hall. They need to wear a mask and use sanitizers, as they are not allowed to sit inside the examination hall without mask & sanitizers.
