The university has seven offices in both India and abroad in addition to its main campus in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. IEC offers admission to its many PG programmes, which are divided into three disciplines: Management Studies, MTech programmes, and Pharmacy.

A graduate degree in the pertinent discipline is the minimal requirement for admission to the institute's PG programmes. For admission to the MBA programme, candidates must have earned a B.Tech degree with at least 60% of the required marks or an equivalent qualification. MBA applicants must have a score that is CAT, MAT, XAT, or an equivalent.

A placement cell at IEC Noida serves as a link between industry and academia. There are more than 4500 well-known recruiters at the institute. In collaboration with NASSCOM, Aricent, EXL Service, Centum Learning, and other organisations, the cell offers on-campus training for JAVA, Digital Marketing, Data Analyst, etc. 50% of eligible students from the 2023 batch also received campus placement before the end of the pre-final semester, and 95% of eligible students from the 2022 batch received campus placement with an average salary package of INR 4.00 LPA. The institute also works with companies like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Cisco, Google, SAP, and TCSion for industrial training. Starting in the first year, the placement cell organises career development programmes for all students. The cell organises training initiatives like mock interviews, discussions in groups, workshops on communication skills, etc. Additionally, it invites business executives from various sectors to lead training sessions for students in their final year.
