Get JEE Main 2023 Info: Waive Off 75% Marks, Syllabus Changed?

The Ministry of Education has announced a big update for all the students going to appear in JEE Main 2023-24. The ministry has decided to waive off 75% marks requirement for class 12th student. The education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that this relief is given to students due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This decision will be applicable to invite admission in NIT (National Institute of Technology), IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), SPAs and CFTIs as these institutes ask JEE Main Score as eligibility. JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is a famous entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. The education Minister has tweeted this announcement.
Reduced Syllabus of JEE Main 2023?
After the announcement of the reduced syllabus of CBSE board exams, students are demanding to reduce the syllabus of JEE Main 2023and NEET 2023. Students are requesting that NEET and JEE Main Exam should be conducted with reduced syllabus so students will get the chance to prepare for it.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, education and education system is badly affected. Schools are closed and the academics work are going in online mode. Not every student has connectivity facility and that’s the main reason behind students are requesting to reduce syllabus of JEE Main 2023 and NEET 2023. Now, PIB has made some clarity that there will be no change in JEE Main 2023 syllabus and NEET 2023 syllabus.
NTA extended the last date of JEE Main registration
The National Testing Agency has extended the date of registration for JEE Main 2023. Now students can submit their application form till January 23. Earlier the application process was started on 16 Dec, 2020.
