    JIPMER Admission:

    A variety of undergraduate and graduate programmes, including MBBS, MD/MS, and B.Sc./M.Sc. programmes, as well as a number of diploma and certificate programmes, are available through JIPMER Admissions 2023. The Institute also offers a PhD in research and a DM/M.Ch./Fellowship at the super-speciality level. The NEET exam, administered by NTA, will replace the JIPMER entrance exam for the academic year, followed by counselling.

    JIPMER Pondicherry Placements:

    JIPMER provides its students with placement opportunities through campus placement. Every year, students in their final year take part in the JIPMER placement drive. Businesses select students through interviews and selection exams who meet the requirements and are hired. After earning their MBBS degree, students are given a one-year internship at JIPMER with a stipend in accordance with CPC guidelines.

    • 428 of the 469 qualifying students were placed in various businesses, pharmacies, and medical fields, according to the NIRF report for the academic year 2018–19.
    • A total of 374 out of 439 MBBS and PG students were placed during JIPMER Pondicherry placements in 2021–2022, according to the NIRF report 2022.
    • During final placements, the average package given to MBBS students was INR 12 LPA.
    • The average package provided to MBBS students during placement has increased by almost 8% since the previous year.
    • The MBBS placement rate recorded during final placements 2021–22 has increased by almost 12% from that of the previous year.
