The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA, has officially uploaded the datesheet for the year 2025 on 03 June 2025, at 5:00 PM. This counselling process is open to JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 qualified candidates. Those who have scored the minimum cutoff in JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 are eligible to participate in the registration process of JoSAAA Counselling 2025. Their results are set to be declared by IIT Kanpur on June 2, 2025.
The counselling process will be done in 5 rounds for the regular counselling process for seat allocation, and the 6th round is especially done for vacant seats in the NIT+ institute. In the first 5 rounds, students can apply for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.
Seat Allocation for AAT Students
Candidates who have qualified in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) for B.Arch programs can fill out the form for architecture-specific choices from June 8, 2025, after the results are declared.
Vacant NIT+ Seats via CSAB
After completing JoSAA counselling 2025, students can apply for leftover seats in NIT+ institutes through CSAB special rounds, for which details will be released on the official CSAB website at csab.nic.in.. Students are advised to keep all documents ready and stay updated through JoSAA’s official website for any announcements related to admission.

Steps to register for JoSAA Counselling 2025
To register for the counselling process, visit the official JoSAA website: https://josaa.nic.in
Click on “Candidate Login” and enter your JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 credentials
Select the preferred courses and colleges from the available list for seat allocation.
Submit and lock in the final choices before the deadline (June 12, 2025, 5:00 PM)
Download and keep a copy of the locked choices for future document verification process.
After seat allocation, pay the security fee for the seat via online payment.
