KLE University, Belgaum, also known as the Karnatak Lingayat Education University, was founded in 2006 in Belgaum, Karnataka. It is one of the most prestigious academic institutions for medical education. The University's guidelines apply to several colleges. KLE University D.M / M.Ch / M.P.T / M.Pharm Admission:
KLE University offers a Master's programme to students who want to pursue a career in the medical field. All candidates are chosen based on the marks they received in their qualifying exam.
The university offers M.Pharm and M.Sc courses in pharmacy and nursing, respectively. These programmes are two years long.
Candidates for degree programmes such as MPT, DM, and M.Ch must pass their respective qualifying exams. There is no entrance exam. Each period lasts three years.

KLE University Admissions process:
Before applying for admission to various courses, candidates must ensure that they meet the University's eligibility requirements. The admission process for each course is described below:
- For admission to MBBS and BDS, an eligible candidate must pass the NEET-UG common entrance exam for the academic year.
- The National Testing Agency administers NEET in an offline mode for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes.
- Students will be called for counselling based on their NEET scores by the Medical Counseling Committee, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
- Admission to other UG courses is based on marks obtained in the KLE University's UG CET, i.e. KLEU-AIET UG.
- Admission to Biostatistics programmes is based on the results of an entrance exam, which is followed by a round of personal interviews on campus.
- For PG courses, eligible students are admitted based on their performance in the University's qualifying entrance exam, KLEU-AIET.
Eligible students apply for admission to Ph.D. programmes using an online application form. To be admitted to the Ph. D. programme, one must also pass the personal interview round.

KLE University MBBS, BDS and BAMS Admission:
KLE University provides undergraduate courses such as MBBS, BDS, and BAMS to students interested in pursuing a career in the field of medical science. Students can only apply for these courses if they have a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 10+2 level. The required mark for BAMS is only 50%.
To be admitted to MBBS and BDS programmes, eligible students must take the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET), which is administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The MBBS programme lasts 4.5 years plus one year of internship, while the BDS programme lasts 4 years plus one year of internship.
Admission to BAMS is entirely based on merit. Candidates must only have a 50% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Following that, they must take a university-sponsored entrance exam.
