Manassery, Kerala's KMCT Medical College, Manassery was founded in 2008 with the goal of establishing a centre for healthcare, education, and research. The Kerala University of Health Sciences is associated with the medical college. In 2013, the Central Government recognised the Undergraduate MBBS Course. Additionally, the college offers post-graduate MS and MD courses in pharmacology and orthopaedics. On the basis of merit and the results of the entrance exams (NEET), the students are shortlisted. Candidates for admission to the college must submit an online application and take the entrance exam.

To be admitted to the MBBS programme at KMCT Medical College, one must perform well on the NEET Exam. KMCT Medical College Facilities:

Other than the basic facilities, the college provides various other facilities to the candidates and the faculty members that they need on the campus. The following are the facilities:-

1. Laboratories: The pre-clinical and para-clinical departments each have practise and research labs with a capacity of about 90 students. For the benefit of the students, the labs are well-equipped.
2. Museum: The Pre-clinical department and the Para-Clinical Department of anatomy, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Microbiology is having six museums on the campus. The college asserts that students should learn about their relevant subjects firsthand. As a result, they provide the museums with a wide variety of charts, models, and even specimens.
3. Hostels/Residential plans: The college set up separate plans for the boys' and girls' hostels. The college made arrangements for residential housing for the teachers and other non-teaching staff in addition to the students. For the benefit of the students and the faculty, the dorms and quarters are kept in good condition.
4. Lecture Halls: Total of six lecture halls are arranged for the students in the campus for all the departments. The lecture halls are well-kept and furnished. Out of the six halls, one can hold 200 students while the others can hold 180.
5. Cafeteria: The medical college as a whole has four canteens, but only one of them is kept on-site for the use of the faculty and students.
6. Library- The library of this college is the center of attraction as it covers around 2400 sq area inside the campus. The library has more than 11716 books in addition to all the required journals, CDs, and DVDs for the students. The working hours of the library are from 8 am to 8 pm.
7. The college campus also has amenities like a recreation centre where students can play football, volleyball, badminton, and even table tennis, as well as a creche for the children of faculty and non-faculty members so that they can easily keep an eye on their children while they are at work. The college also organises music performances and art festivals to give the students a stress-free environment.
