Reputable for being self-financing, M.A.M. College of Engineering offers top-notch instruction in management studies and engineering. Located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, it was founded on February 10, 1999 by Janab M. Abdul Majed. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has authorised each course, and Anna University in Chennai is associated with it.
Both undergrad and graduate engineering degree programmes are abundantly offered by the college. Presently, it provides five M.E. courses in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Power Electronics & Drives, Manufacturing Engineering, and Environmental Engineering; a B. Tech in Information Technology; and six B.E. programmes in Computer Sc., Electronics & Communication, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics & Instrumentation. Additionally, M.A.M.
- College of Engineering provides two postgraduate courses: MBA and MCA.
- Before registering for TANCA counselling, candidates without a GATE score must apply and appear for the TANCET in order to be considered for admission to the M.E. programme.
- For the purpose of admission, candidates pursuing lateral entry into B.E. or B. Tech. are required to attend TNEA counselling.
- Candidate with HSC and at least 50% in PCM subjects is eligible for B.E./B.Tech programmes.
- The application form is available at the institute's fee counter for applicants wishing to be admitted under the management quota.
- Such candidates are exempt from attending the counselling process at Anna University.
- A valid bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant discipline is a prerequisite for admission to the M.E. programme.
- Those with an engineering diploma or a bachelor's degree in mathematics may apply for lateral entry into B.E. programmes in accordance with Anna University's policies.
- For such students, however, a minimum of 50% of the scores in the qualifying exam are necessary.
- The eligibility requirements for Backward Classes are 45% minimum marks, whereas MBC & DNC and SC/ST/SCA candidates must meet 40%.
- Candidates for MCA must have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate study in mathematics at the HSC or graduation level.
- A minimum of three years of graduation are required for candidates to be considered for an MBA.
- The TANCET score is the only factor used to choose candidates for MBA and MCA programmes.
- Additionally, entrance to MBA programmes is deemed possible based on MAT scores.
- For M.E. admissions, candidates with a valid GATE score are given priority.
- TANCET fills the open positions that remain after admitting GATE students.
- The TN state government and Anna University have established guidelines for reservation provision.

M.A.M. College of Engineering MBA Admission
For applicants wishing to be considered for postgraduate admission in management courses, M.A.M. College of Engineering provides an MBA programme. The MBA programme offers specialisations in marketing, finance, operations management, systems, and human resource management. The minimum requirements for entrance to the programme are a bachelor's degree in any field with 50% of the total possible points. Candidates are chosen based either on their MAT or TANCET scores.
In order to appear in the TANCET (MBA), candidates must go to the official website of Anna University or the TANCET website specifically and complete the online application. You can use bank cards or net-banking to pay the application fee. The costs may also be paid via demand draft to candidates. No other CET score is accepted by the board for MBA admissions.

M.A.M. College of Engineering Application Process
Government quota seats at M.A.M. College of Engineering are filled through the Anna University admissions process. Admission to the institute's B.E. programmes is determined by the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) counselling process. Before registering for TANCA (Tamil Nadu Common Admission) counselling, which is the exclusive admission process in Tamil Nadu for PG engineering admissions, candidates must appear for GATE or TANCET for M.E. admissions. Candidates for MCA and MBA programmes based solely on their TANCET score merit.
For the government-quota seats for admission to the B.E./B. Tech, M.E., MCA, and MBA programmes, the following is the application and counselling procedure:
- Go to the college's website and get the application.
- The application form is also available to candidates in person.
- Apply in person or by mail to the college admission office with the completed form.
Documents to be produced at the time of counselling:
- A photocopy of the class X mark sheet and an equivalent/HSC mark sheet
- PG candidates' graduation mark sheet photocopy
- A copy of the Transfer Certificate
- A copy of the Permanent Community Certificate Card for candidates who are ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC, and BCM
- Ticket for the HSC Hall photocopy
