Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association established Mulund College of Commerce in 1970. The college is associated with the University of Mumbai and consistently receives a "A" grade for reaccreditation from the NAAC team. The College is renowned for providing a wide range of undergraduate programmes, including B.Com, B.Sc., and B.M.S., under several specialisations in the relevant disciplines/streams. However, admission to these UG programmes is determined by the students' performance in the qualifying 10+2 exam or its equivalent. MCC Mulund College Admissions:
The undergraduate professional degree programmes offered by Mulund College of Commerce are well known across the country. The two most popular bachelor's degree programmes offered at the college, B.Com. and B.Sc., are available in a number of specialisations within each discipline. Based on the students' marks or merits in their 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination, the college itself will create merit lists for admission to these programmes.
The college has also made available the first merit lists for the programmes in FYBSc (IT), FYBCom, FYBMS, FYBAMMC, and FYBSc (CS). The college has yet to reveal the second and third merit lists. Candidates who have applied to MCC's UG programmes can confirm their admission by looking at the merit lists. In order to be eligible for lateral entry admission into the Mulund College of Commerce's B.Sc. (IT) programme, a candidate must have earned a diploma in computer engineering, computer science, or computer technology after completing Grade 10 from an accredited institution.
Mulund College of Commerce UG Admission:
The B.Com programme at Mulund College of Commerce is available in three disciplines, as are the B.Sc. programmes in two disciplines and the UG-level BMS course.
Candidates must have completed Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognised board with an overall grade point average of at least 50% in order to be considered for the B.Com, BMS, and Diploma programmes. Students must have passed Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognised board to be eligible for the B.Sc. programme. For lateral entry into the B.Sc. IT programme, students must have completed a three-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology after completing Grade 10.
Admission will be granted based on performance on the qualifying exam.
