The Ministry of Human Resource Development founded the Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), also known as Meenakshi University. Meenakshi Engineering College is located in K. K. Nagar, Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute is located in Enathur, Kanchipuram, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College is located in Maduravoyal, Chennai, and Meenakshi College of Nursing is located in Mangadu, Faculty of Engineering and Technology Mangadu, Chennai.

A variety of UG and PG programmes, including BDS, MDS, UG, UG Medical, BE, B.Tech, MD, MS, ME, M.Tech, PG Medical, and PG, are offered by the college. At the postgraduate level, the university also offers an MBA and an MCA. DM, M.Ch., and Ph.D. programmes are among those offered by Meenakshi University.

The university's entrance exam is used to determine admission to all courses, and the results are based on the students' scores.

Every year, an entrance exam is held for undergrads in the month of May, for postgraduates in the month of January, and for super-specialty courses in the month of June. MAHER MBBS Admission:

Meenakshi University offers its respective students a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. The MBBS programme lasts five years.

Candidates who wish to enrol in this programme must take the CBSE-conducted NEET entrance exam. Candidates for the MBBS programme must have completed their high school studies in the science field from an accredited institution and must have received an overall grade in physics, chemistry, biology, and English in the Higher Secondary Examination of at least 50%.

Candidates for the aforementioned course must be at least 17 years old.

MAHER MD and MS Admission:

The university provides two postgraduate programmes at the master's level: a Master of Science and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) (MS). The University offers 14 unique specialisations in a variety of subjects for the MD programme, compared to 5 specialisations for the MS programme. The MD and MS programmes last for three years each.

The National Board of Examinations' NEET PG entrance exam is required of all candidates interested in either of the two programmes (NBE). You can submit an application for NEET PG.
