The Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology [MIET] is a management and engineering school that offers a total of 28 courses in 6 different streams. The institute offers undergraduate degrees. The college offers postgraduate degrees in MBA. All courses require entrance exams, with the exception of the B.Voc programme, which bases admission on the student's performance on the prior qualifying exam. In 1997, the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded. It is a UGC and AICTE-approved institution that is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University and one of the top engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Two of its courses have been NBA-accredited, and it has a "B++" accreditation from NAAC.

Outlook India and Dataquest ranked MIET as the 69th and 83rd best engineering colleges, respectively. The college places a strong emphasis on skill development and frequently offers free programmes to improve corporate skills.

Additionally, it provides Applied Science Engineering, MBA, MCA, B. Pharm, and M. Pharm courses.

Candidates for B. Tech must have completed 10+2 with PCM and 60% in addition to taking the JEE-Main for selection. Candidates for M. Tech programmes must hold a B. Tech in the relevant field. An M. Sc degree may also be accepted in some circumstances. They must also take the GATE in order to be selected.

Candidates for MBA programmes must have a minimum GPA of 50% in addition to strong CAT or MAT scores. A valid UPSEE score card, 50% in the graduation class, and Mathematics as a required subject are requirements for the MCA programme.

• Any bachelor's degree from any field is acceptable for candidates.
• The candidate needs at least 50% of the possible points.
• The applicant ought to have taken the CAT or MAT.

   How to apply for CAT?

• Select "Registration"
• Read the provided guidance.
• To complete CAT 2019 registration, complete all required fields.
• Type in the OTP and verify it.
• To submit, click "I Agree." The password will be sent via text message to the registered mobile number, and the User ID will be sent via email.
• Upon successful completion of the CAT registration, a special login ID and password will be generated. These are necessary to complete the CAT application form.
• Fill out the application form by clicking "Go to Application Form."
• The form has a fee of 1,900 INR, which must be paid online

MIET Facilities:

1. Bus service is available for students and staff, covering almost all of Meerut and the surrounding areas. There are 27 buses that run daily to help students.
2. Medical - Students and staff can receive medical consultation on campus six days a week during the evening hours from a senior medical officer.
3. Canteen - MIET has a canteen where you can get lunch, snacks, tea, cold drinks, coffee, fast food, and other nourishing refreshments. Additionally, MIET has a unique "Amul Parlour" where students can relax while enjoying a variety of hygienic Amul Products.
4. Notebooks, stationery, and other supplies that students need for their studies are sold at the MIET Shoppe. Additionally, it offers printing, binding, and photocopying services.
5. A Punjab National Bank ATM is situated right at the entrance for the convenience of the students.
