    NEET Cutoff 2025: Check Expected Scores for MBBS

    More than 20 Lakh undergraduate students took the NEET UG 2025 on 04 May 2025, across India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET Result 2025 on 14 June 2025 online. To qualify, students must secure a minimum cutoff mark to get admission to the MBBS course. 

    Based on 2024 trend, the cutoff marks for the students belonging to general category were between 720 and 162, while in 2023, it was between 720 and 137. This increase was not just for the general category. Other categories like OBC, SC, and ST also had higher cutoffs than previous year.

    • OBC/SC/ST categories had a cutoff range of 161–127 in 2024, and for 2023 it was little lower,136–107 .

    • The percentile required remained the same, that is for general category candidates it is  50 percentile and 40 percentile for OBC, SC, and ST categories.

    NEET UG 2025: How NEET Cutoff is Calculated

    The National Testing Agency, NTA, will release the NEET UG cutoff based on multiple factors, including:

    • Difficulty level of the NEET UG 2025 paper.

    • Number of candidates who appeared for the exam.

    • The total number of MBBS and BDS seats available in the country.

    • Candidate’s performance on the all-India merit list.
