    NEET PG 2021 Result Declared: Cut-offs Lower than Last Year

    The National Board of Examinations (NBE) released the results for this year’s NEET PG exam, on 28th September 2021. It was released online in PDF format, which means that students can check their results on nbe.edu.in. Candidates getting more than the requisite cutoff will be shortlisted for admission to MD and MS as well as Diploma Courses.

    The NEET PG Exam 2021 was held on 11th September 2021, across 260 cities and around 800 centres. The NBE came up with the announcement of results on Twitter.


    How to Check the Result

    • Log on to https://www.nbe.edu.in
    • Click on the NEET PG Link on the Homepage
    • On the new page that opens, fill in the login credentials and click on submit
    • Doing this will display the result on the screen
    • Download the Result page and print the hard copy of the same

    Cutoffs for this Year

    The NEET PG cut-off for this year is relatively lower as compared to those of 2019. 

    General candidates need a minimum score of 302 out of 800 to pass, which is slightly lower than 2019’s 340 out of 800.

    Even the cut-offs for the reserved sections are relatively lower than in 2019. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (including the physically disabled sections of these castes) need to meet the cut-off of 265 out of 800 rather than 295 out of 800 as was in 2019.

    For the UR-PwD sections, the cut-off is 283 out of 800 as compared to 2019’s 317 out of 800.

    Though the cut-off marks for NEET PG 2021 are significantly low, the cut-off percentile for the same remains the same; 50th Percentile for the General candidates, 40th Percentile for the SC/ST/OBC, and 45th Percentile for the UR-PwD.
