    Yesterday, on 31st March 2022, there have been major updates on two of the most important exams in India. The NTA has officially notified the students regarding the dates and other related matters regarding both these examinations.

    NEET UG Exam 2022 Updates

    In its official statement, the NTA has announced that registrations for the NEET UG Exam 2022 will be completely online and shall start from 2nd April 2022 and go on till 7th May 2022. Starting from mid-May, a 5-day correction window will be available for the candidates to make the necessary changes in their application.

    The exam will officially be held on 17th July 2022, and shall be a “single-day-pen-paper exam”. Candidates who seek admission for undergraduate medical and allied courses need to appear for this exam mandatorily. The NTA has informed that the exam dates and schedule were fixed after consultations with the NMC and the Ministries of Education and Health.

    The paper would be held in a total of 13 languages.

    JEE Main Exam 2022 Updates

    The NTA has clarified that the JEE Main Exam 2022 will be held in 2 sessions i.e. April and May. The April dates include April 21st, 24th, 25th, and 29th while the May session shall be held on May 1st, 4th, 24th, and 29th, 2022.

    This computer-based test will be a total of 3 hours long and include a total of 90 questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Each paper shall have 20 questions that will be “objective type” and 10 “Numeric” questions out of which only 5 need to be answered. Correct answers are worth 1 mark.

    This exam will be held in 13 languages as well.
