The NEET UG conducting body The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate 2025 by the end of May. This key will allow candidates to assess their performance and raise objections before the final results are declared. Candidates will have to pay an amount of INR 200 per question to raise an obligation which is non refundable.
After the release of the provisional answer key, NTA will release the final answer key after reviewing the obligations raised and more in a day or two. The final answer key will act as the last and final document where no further chances will be allowed to be made. The NEET UG 2025 exam took place on May 4, 2025, in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam was conducted across 5,453 centers in over 500 cities nationwide. In 2025, over 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the exam, making it one of the most competitive editions yet.

Total Questions: 200 (180 to be attempted)
Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect responses

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can raise objections through an online challenge process:

Click on “Challenge to Answer Key”.
Select the specific question(s) to challenge.
Upload supporting documents or authoritative sources.
Pay the non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.
