In 1968, the Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI) was founded in Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, along with Kerala. NGI was established to give students from Tamil Nadu and Kerala access to higher education in the field of aeronautical engineering. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate courses in management, arts, science, paramedical sciences, engineering, and hospitality are all offered by the institution.
