The NIEM The Institute of Event Management was founded in 2000 and is an independent institution that imparts event management knowledge. NIEM Both undergraduate and graduate event management programmes are offered in a full-time format by the Institute of Event Management Mumbai.

The courses offered are as follows: 

• Diploma in Event Management (DEM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Event. (PGDE)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising, Media & Event Management (PGDAME)

The completion of the 10+2 level of education is the minimum requirement for the DEM course. The course is also open to applicants who are in their final year of the 10+2 programme. They must submit their results within the institute's allotted time.

After passing the 10+2 exam, graduates are qualified for the PGDE and PGDAME programmes. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, but they must be able to show the institute their original degree certificate when they enrol
