The results of the NIMS University entrance exam are used to determine admission to the medical science and related courses offered at the university. A valid NEET UG score is required for the MBBS and BDS programmes. Final admission is granted based on university-based counselling.

NIMS University PG Medical Admission MD, MS:

The university offers MD, MS courses in a variety of disciplines at the PG medical level. MD and MS admission is determined by NEET PG scores, whereas DM and M.Ch admission is determined by a passing NEET SS score. Candidates must pass the NIMS Entrance Test in order to enrol in other courses.

Key Points:

• Candidates must go through the relevant admissions counselling process after taking the entrance exam in order to be offered a seat in the institution based on both their entrance test results and the grades they received in the prerequisite exams.
• For programmes where admission is determined by performance on the qualifying exam, preference will be given to students who excel in extracurricular activities and sports.
• Within four weeks of the date of provisional admission, all chosen applicants are required to participate in a medical examination.
