People's College Of Medical Sciences & Research Centre - [PCMS], Bhopal
A medical college in Bhopal is called People's College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PCMS). The college serves as the medical school and research centre for People's University. It began accepting patients in 2005 after being established as a teaching hospital in 2002.
The capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, is known as the "City of Lakes" and is home to People's University. People's Medical College is one of the ten Constituent Institutes that make up People's University.
NEET is now used as a requirement for admission to PMC. Earlier admission took place via MPPMT. People's Medical College offers MBBS and MS/MD degree programmes for both undergraduate and graduate study.
At the undergraduate level, it offers MBBS, a five and a half year programme (4 12 years of coursework plus a year of internship).
It offers MD/MS, M.Sc. (Medical Microbiology), and M.Sc. degrees at the PG level (Med. Biochemistry).
PG programmes last for three years.

People’s Medical College Bhopal Admissions:
Candidates are admitted to the MBBS programme offered by People's Medical College based on their NEET performance.
Following the announcement of the results, seats are assigned to students based on counselling.
Students are chosen for the M.B.B.S. programme solely on the basis of their merit, which is assessed through the NEET entrance exam, a highly competitive test. The following criteria must be met in order to be selected for the MBBS programme:
- The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Class 12/Equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as required subjects, must have been successfully completed by the candidate.
- One must have earned at least 50% in each of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, both collectively and individually.
- Students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or other Backward Classes will receive 40% rather than 50% in the qualifying exam and competitive entrance exam for their combined marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
- For students with locomotor disabilities of the lower limbs, the qualifying exam and competitive entrance examination must be passed with a minimum of 45% instead of 50% in order to be admitted to the MBBS programme.

People’s Medical College Bhopal MD/MS Admissions:
The MS and MD Degree Programs are available through People Medical College's Postgraduate Medical Education tab. The CBSE-conducted NEET-PG exam serves as the basis for admission to both medical degree programmes.
Following successful completion of the MBBS exam, candidates are required to complete a six-month internship as well.

Seat allocation for MS and MD courses begins after the results are announced. For this course, applicants must meet a number of requirements.
For general students, a minimum mark threshold of 50% is required for admission to postgraduate medical programmes (fifty per cent).
For students in the SC, ST, and OBC categories, the minimum percentage of marks required for admission to postgraduate medical programmes is 40%.
