    R.G. Kar Medical College Admission:

    In Kolkata, West Bengal, India, there is a medical college and hospital called R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. In May 1958, the West Bengal state government in India took control of RGKMCH. The first non-government medical college in Asia was R G Kar College.

    The RGKMCH offers medical undergraduate and graduate programmes. It has more than 30 departments, including those for cardiology, biochemistry, dentistry, general surgery, and many others.

    R G Kar Medical College Placement:

    College grads can find employment as an RMO in private nursing homes or as a Medical officer in government hospitals. Additionally, there is a chance for independent study and to enrol in any medical school as a demonstrator for the first year of courses.

    All MBBS students must complete the 1-year clinical rotational internship in order to bypass out. Internships are also offered by universities. Students work in a variety of departments during their internship, including general medicine, psychiatry, cosmetic surgery, anaesthesia, community medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopaedics, gynaecology and obstetrics, and paediatrics.

    Alumni from the college also hold positions at respectable medical facilities overseas. The pay scale offered will change depending on whether students work in a government-run or private hospital.
