It supports research activities and offers staff and students practical training. With the help of Shimadzu (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gharda Chemicals, it was the idea of the late Dr. P. S. Ramanathan, a renowned analytical chemist and director of corporate analytical operations.
• Center for Self-Vision: The Self-Vision Center, which was established in 1995 to provide the best facilities to its many visually impaired students who, year after year, have given an excellent account of themselves in their pursuit of excellence in the academic field, is a highly commendable part of Ruia's many student welfare initiatives.
