Since its founding in 1986, Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science has developed into one of the largest institutions that is entirely self-financed. Awarded autonomous status by UGC in 2004, it is associated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and was re-accredited in 2014 with a 'A' grade. It is currently rated as Coimbatore's fourth-best college.

The college offers undergraduate programmes in B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BCA, and BBA. Passing the HSC or an equivalent test in the relevant stream is the primary requirement for admission to these courses.

Subject to space availability in a specific batch, admissions are made solely on the basis of a student's performance in the class 12 exam.

Note: Business mathematics, general mathematics, and statistics cannot be regarded as mathematically equivalent. Instead, the merit of a B.Sc. in mathematics should be determined by taking those marks into account.

RVS College of Arts and Science PG Admission

Postgraduate degree courses in both traditional and professional fields are offered by the college. For M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., and MSW admissions are direct and contingent upon the merit of a qualifying degree.

Admissions to MBA and MCA programmes are determined by test results from national and state entrance exams. Except for the MCA programme, which lasts three years, all of the courses are two years long. In the second year of the MCA, lateral entry admissions are also available based on TANCET results.

Key Points for Admission:

• Candidates from reserved categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation from the TANCET eligibility requirements.
• The Tamil Nadu Self Financing Consortium common entrance exam is required for admission for candidates applying under management quota for the MBA and MCA programmes.
