Chennai's Saranathan College of Engineering (SCE) is an engineering college that was established in 1998. In addition to five postgraduate courses, the college provides seven undergraduate courses. These consist of one MBA course, four M.E. specialisations, six B.E. specialisations, and one B.Tech specialisation. While entrance is the determining factor for PG admissions, merit is the basis for UG admissions. For every course, there is counselling. An associate of Saranathan College of Engineering (SCE) is Anna University. The institution is situated in Srirangam, Tamil Nadu, and was founded in 2000. Anna University's rules and state regulations constitute the basis for admissions decisions.

The Saranathan College of Engineering currently offers courses in B.E., B.Tech., M.E., and MBA. State counselling comes after admissions are granted based on merit or entrance exam results.

The only students admitted to the B.E. and B.Tech programmes are those who completed their HSC in Tamil Nadu. Admissions are granted based on merit and applications are submitted through TNEA.

Students who are admitted through TNEA counselling on the basis of their HSC scores occupy about 65% of the seats. Additionally, students who apply for undergraduate admissions under the management quota are allocated 35% of the seats.

Admission to M.E. programmes is available to candidates who meet the TANCET or GATE requirements. Students who have at least 50% in a relevant B.E. or B.Tech programme are qualified. Applications are accepted via TANCA for counselling as well as admissions.

Students who meet the requirements of the CAT, MAT, CMAT, or TANCET and have completed 50% of their undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for MBA admissions. Applications for MBA counselling are being accepted through TANCA.

Fifty percent of the postgraduate seats are set aside for students who are admitted through TANCA counselling. Students who are admitted via the management quota are eligible for the remaining 50% of the available seats.

During the most recent SCE placement campaign for 2019–20 pass-outs, about 283 students were placed in 23 reputable businesses.

• Both an active email address and mobile number must be entered.

Documents Required

To register for TANCA counselling, candidates must provide scanned copies of the following documents:

1. Mark sheets for the X, XII, or three-year diploma The qualifying degree certificate, the provisional certificate, the semester-by-semester mark sheets, or the consolidated mark sheet.
2. Transfer certificate from the last school attended
3. For GATE qualified categories, a valid GATE scorecard and TANCET hall pass are required.

Canteen: This college offers delectable vegetarian meals in its on-campus canteen. Along with the Xerox facility, there is also a separate stationary store and STD booth close to the canteen.

Accommodations: Saranathan College has distinct dorms catering to males and females. Around 180 students can stay in the boy's hostel and about 250 in the girl's hostel. The hostels are fully furnished with everything you might possibly need. The rooms have plenty of light and space. A recreation hall, a library, solar water heating, round-the-clock security, water supply, and a bus service to the institution are among the amenities.

Transportation: To ensure that students and staff arrive at the college on schedule, a great number of buses run from various locations. In the college's surrounding neighbourhood, about 25 buses operate.
