    In Gangtok, Sikkim, there is a medical school called Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences.     • The Research Protocol Evaluation Committee (RPEC) at the department or institute will then review the candidates' research protocol.
    • Candidates must adjust their research protocol in accordance with the RPEC's recommendations if necessary.

    The college occupies 25 acres of land and has excellent architecture. To support students' academic endeavours, the institute upholds a friendly atmosphere. There are large lecture halls and lecture theatres with excellent audio and visual equipment to support student learning. The central library is very big and contains a lot of books and journals. The library can accommodate 150 people at once. The Institute enhances its teaching methods by utilising all contemporary tools, such as computers and the internet. The auditorium can accommodate 750 people at once. There are 45 seats in the seminar room and 42 in the conference room. About 600 students can stay in hostels there. Power and water are provided to it all day. There are 300 seats in the mess or dining hall. Badminton courts, internet access, television rooms, and other amenities can be found in the hostel.
