Undergraduate and graduate programmes in technology and computer applications are available at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET). Founded in 1998, Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology (SKCET) is an independent, private university. It is accredited by the NBA and NAAC and is associated with Anna University.

Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology, which ranks #97 in the NIRF for 2019, has already received an INR 6.77 crore grant for research.

Courses like B.E., B.Tech, M.E., MBA, and MCA are currently available for enrollment. State counselling comes after entrance exam results and merit in the admissions process.

Admission to B.E. and B.Tech programmes is provided by TNEA counselling. A seat at this college will be awarded on the basis of merit to students who have pursued their HSC from Tamil Nadu alone.

Admission to M.E programmes is available to students who meet TANCET requirements or who hold GATE qualifying credentials. Students who have at least 50% in a relevant B.E. or B.Tech programme are qualified. Through TANCA, applications are accepted.

Students who meet the requirements of the CAT or TANCET and hold an undergraduate degree in any field are eligible to apply for MBA admissions. For MBA counselling, applications are accepted through TANCA.

Students wishing to apply for admission to the MCA programme must be eligible for the TANCET and hold an undergraduate degree in any field. Additionally, they ought to take mathematics in grades XI and XII. Applications for MCA counselling are accepted via TANCA.

Only those who meet the requirements for internal admission and the cut-off will be invited to participate in a group discussion before a personal interview. Applications can be sent by mail to Anna University.

189 companies that visited with the 2020 batch offered an on-campus placement to about 96% of the students. The average package was 3.92 LPA, while the highest package was available for INR 28 LPA. There was a 3% increase in placements as well.

1. Mark sheets for the X, XII, or three-year diploma The qualifying degree certificate, the provisional certificate, the semester-by-semester mark sheets, or the consolidated mark sheet.
2. Transfer certificate from the previous school attended
3. For GATE qualified categories, a valid GATE score card and TANCET hall pass are required.
4. Only in digital signature e-Certificate format or as an electronic version of the Disability Nativity Certificate. (If relevant)
5. A copy of the identification certificate from the Tahsildar's head office, or—for candidates who are Sri Lankan refugees—a passport, visa, and letter registered at the police station

SKCET Placement

In order to help students land good jobs, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology's placement cell is crucial. To prepare students for the placement drive, it arranges pre-placement events such as expert talks, workshops, mock interviews, and seminars. The institute has a stellar reputation for placing graduates in prestigious businesses. 140 students were placed in Placements 2021 and 142 students in Placements 2022 for the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch. 

2019 saw the introduction of individualised training for students based on their chosen careers. A total of 248 companies, including multinational corporations, extended 711 job offers to 573 students. With an average package of 3.92 LPA, the students received the highest salary package of INR 28 LPA.

SKCET Coimbatore Facilities

Library: The library is a fully air-conditioned 55,000 square foot space. It consists of 32086 titles, 1500 periodicals, and more than 52,200 book volumes. Faculty members and students alike have access to the library's resources.

Hostel: SKCET offers distinct hostel accommodations for enrolled male and female students. While the girls' hostel can provide residential facilities to 850 students, the boys' hostel can house nearly 1600 students. The accommodations are furnished with all the necessities for a comfortable stay for the students.

Sports: The school offers top-notch facilities to support students' physical fitness. It features thoughtfully designed playgrounds for all sports and pastimes.

Transportation: The college offers bus transportation from well-known spots throughout the city to the college. Fifteen buses in total are used to pick up and drop off faculty members and students.
