Established in 1993, under the auspices of the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Charitable Trust, is the Deemed to be University known as Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya (SCSVMV). Situated on a verdant 50-acre campus, the university is located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya [SCSVMV], also known as Kanchi University, is a deemed university in Tamil Nadu with a better national reputation for Sanskrit studies. It is located in Kancheepuram. Numerous UG, PG, and Research Courses are available.

About nine undergraduate courses in twenty-three different fields, seven graduate courses in twenty-nine different fields, programmes are available. A part-time . course is also available. Lateral Entry is available for B.E. and MCA courses. The Department of Engineering and Technology offers certified courses by certain disciplines in addition to honours and minor degrees in a number of major disciplines.

Applications can be completed both offline and online. A merit-based counselling session is used in Kanchi University's (SCSVMV) admissions process.

• JEE or the university's AISEEE/ERA Uni-Gauge exam is required for admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme. The main score is also suitable.
• Admissions to other UG programmes, such as BA, BBA, B.SC, BCA, and B.Ed, are based on merit.

SCSVMV UG Admission BA, B.Com And BBA

In addition to offering specialisations in a variety of courses, the university offers non-technical UG courses. While B.Ed takes two years and BAMS takes five years, BA, BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc programmes last three years each. All course admissions are determined solely by merit. The only course for which admission is determined by NEET scores is BAMS.

Note: Applicants may also apply for a BA (Sanskrit) if they have passed the Prak Sastri exam from any accredited board. The university strongly promotes higher education in Sanskrit and therefore, offers a stipend to the day scholars whereas free accommodation facility to those who seek admission in Sanskrit courses.

SCSVMV MBA Admission

Full-time MBA programmes with dual specialisations in a number of subjects are available at SCSVMV. The National Level Entrance Exams, such as the CAT/XAT/JMAT/ATMA/MAT, or the entrance exam administered by SCSVMV, are the basis for admission to MBA programmes.

The university offers several worthwhile undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses under SCSVMV Admission 2022 in a variety of specialisations, including B.E. in eight specialisations in full-time and part-time modes with lateral entry facilities, B.Tech in IT, BAMS, and B.Sc. in four specialisations, and B.Com., BBA, BCA, B.Ed., and BA in three specialisations at the undergraduate level. The university offers eight M.E. specialisations, three M.Tech specialisations, eleven MBA specialisations, and three MCA, MA, M.Com, and M.Sc. specialisations at the postgraduate level. Aside from everything else, there are eight research-level M.Phil. specialisations and thirteen valuable Ph.D. specialisations available in the programme.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a valid score from the AISEEE or JEE Main entrance exams and a 10+2 pass certificate with at least 50% in PCM in order to be considered for the B.E. programme.
• a bachelor's degree with at least 50% of the required marks for the B.Ed. programme.
• A candidate must have a 10+2 pass certificate from any recognised board in order to be admitted to the B.Sc., BCA, BBA, B.Com., or BA programmes.
• Candidates must have a valid undergraduate degree from an accredited university or institution and a valid entrance exam score, such as the ATMA, CAT, JCET, MAT, JMAT, or XAT, in order to be admitted to an MBA programme.
• A UG degree in B.E. or its equivalent from an accredited university or institution is required for admission to the M.E. programme.
• A minimum of 55% of the marks in a B.Sc. degree or its equivalent are required for admission to the M.Sc. programme.

Offline Application

• The SCSVMV Campus in Enathur, Kanchipuram, the School of Education (for the B.Ed programme), and Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College in Nazarathpet, Chennai are the locations where application forms are available. • The application fee may be paid in cash at Kanchipuram, Chennai, by demand draft made payable to "The Registrar, SCSVMV University."

Document Required

Those who pass the entrance exam will receive an invitation to counselling. The University will announce the dates for counselling. When counselling, the university requires the following paperwork to be submitted.

1. Score Card for Entrance Exam or List of Qualifying Exam Marks
2. Class 10 mark sheet as evidence of birthdate
3. Class 12 mark sheet, or something comparable (if results are released)
4. Passport-size photos Photo ID proof (PAN, Aadhar, Passport): photocopy to be submitted, original for verification.

SCSVMV Placements:

For the benefit of the students, the Training and Placement Division has set up Career Development/Personality Development programmes. The university handles all of its necessary internship and recruitment-related tasks through the central Placement Division. By the end of the course, the students can develop their opinion formation and presentation skills thanks to the cell, which also helps them become more aware of general and technical issues. In order to prepare students for the real world of recruitment sessions, the cell simultaneously teaches them in group discussion and personal interview techniques.
