Founded in 1963, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is a private institution associated with VTU Belgaum. In 1968, SJCE became the first college in Karnataka to offer courses in the field of electronics and communication engineering. Campus: The 117-acre Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering campus is home to a number of well-known structures.

Student Clubs: The institute sponsors a number of student clubs that are in charge of organising numerous talks and debates on campus. The goal of these clubs is to motivate students to venture outside of their comfort zones and take part in activities that they otherwise might not have.
