Muthukumaran Medical College MBBS Admission:
The four-year MBBS programme is offered by SMMCHRI. Candidates must have successfully taken the HSC exams in Tamil Nadu or an equivalent exam. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and other subjects must have been satisfactorily completed as part of the qualifying examination, or Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. The minimum passing grades for Botany, Biology, and Zoology should not be less than 60% overall, and 60% for each of Physics and Chemistry. The minimum required score for candidates is 140 out of a possible 200 points.
Admissions will be handled through counselling at the university level. Candidates must have a valid National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test score in order to participate in counselling (NEET UG).

- Backward Caste: At least 60% in Biology, Botany, and Zoology combined, 60% in Physics and Chemistry separately, and a minimum of 130 out of 200.
- Not less than 55% in Biology, Botany, and Zoology combined, 55% in Physics, and 120 out of 200 minimum for members of the most backward caste.
