Formerly known as Sri Ramachandra University, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, is a Deemed University. A deemed university located in Porur, Chennai, is Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, now known as Sri Ramachandra University. It was founded by Sri Ramachandra Education & Health Trust on September 11, 1985.
