The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kuzhithurai is the owner of the private college St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering. It is situated in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu's Chunkankadai, Kanyakumari District. The college is connected to Chennai's Anna University. The college has both AICTE and UGC approval. The college's MBA programme is permanently affiliated with Anna University.
Twelve postgraduate programmes and six graduates are offered by the college. The institution boasts six research departments that are accredited by the university.

SXCCE Admission
In Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari District, St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering (SXCCE) was founded in 1998. It has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is associated with Anna University.
The engineering school of St. Xavier's Catholic College provides twelve postgraduate and six undergraduate courses. The university also recognises five research divisions at SXCCE. The B.E. programme has 480 seats available for a variety of areas, and the B.Tech (IT) programme has 60 seats. About 198 places are available for M.E., while 60 seats are available for MCA and MBA.
To be eligible for admission to the first semester of the B.E. / B.Tech. programme, candidates must pass the government-mandated Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2), which require three topics to be studied: mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
- Candidates must pass a suitable UG from Anna University or an equivalent programme in order to be considered for admission to postgraduate programmes.
- Undergraduate course admission is determined by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) online counselling process run by Anna University.
- Anna University's Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is the basis for admission to postgraduate degrees.
- Students who wish to enrol in M.E., M.Tech, MBA, or MCA programmes must first pass the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), which is followed by central counselling offered by the Tamil Nadu state.
- Admissions applications must be submitted on the official form that is provided on the college campus along with the prospectus.

SXCCE MBA Admission
The college provides undergraduate studies in M.E., MCA, and MBA programmes. The Tamil Nadu government stipulates that a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is the minimum requirement for these programmes.
Candidates are admitted to ME, MBA, and MCA programmes based on their performance in the Anna University-conducted TANCET exam.
Applicants for M.E. admission who have a valid GATE score will also be taken into consideration. A legitimate CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT score is also taken into consideration for MBA admission.

SXCCE Application Process
The following is the application process for admission to SXCCE, which is the same for all of the college's programmes:

- A challan is issued for payment of the costs after the original documents are submitted for official analysis.
