    Travancore Medical College Admission:

    A self-supporting educational institution, Travancore Medical College was founded in Kollam Medical City, Kerala, in 2008. In the city of Kollam, the college also serves as a top medical facility. The Kerala University of Health Sciences is affiliated with it.

    An undergraduate MBBS programme is currently available at Travancore Medical College. It provides MD & MS programmes with specialisations in anesthesiology, general medicine, and obstetrics & gynaecology for postgraduate students. The college provides a GNM programme and a B.Sc. Nursing programme for students in undergrad.

    • The NEET UG exam serves as the basis for MBBS admission.
    • Candidates for MBBS admission must have at least a 10+2 grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a combined total of 60%.
    • Candidates for the MBBS, MD, and MS programmes are only chosen through Kerala CEE counselling. Despite the fact that selection is based on NEET score, NBE plays no part in seat allocation.
    • Interviews at the institute level are used to choose candidates for the GNM programme. Score on the CET is not relevant for this programme.
    • The NEET-PG exam serves as the basis for MD or MS admission.
    • Candidates for MD and MS must have an MBBS from an institution recognised by the MCI and 50% on the entrance exam.
    • Candidates from open categories must be 25 years old to take the NEET (UG), while candidates from reserved categories must be 30 years old.
    • In order to qualify for reservation, candidates applying under the minority quota must be able to produce community and non-cremy layer certificates.
    • For Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and foreign nationals, a passport number is a requirement for filling out the online NEET application.
    • For MD and MS programmes, the application fee is INR 3750 (INR 2750 for SC, ST, and OBC).
    • Candidates who are applying under the Muslim Reservation Quota must present a Confirmation Certificate from the Kollam Muslim Association's Authorized Signatory proving that they and their families follow Muslim customs and rituals.
    • As per Kerala CEE guidelines, reservations are offered.

    Travancore Medical College MBBS Admission:

    Students looking for UG-level medical education can enrol in the MBBS degree programme at Travancore Medical College. A passing grade in the 10+2 exam or an exam of an equivalent level, with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined, is the basic requirement for admission to the programme.

    Through KEAM counselling, candidates are chosen for the government quota seats in the MBBS programme based on their NEET-UG scores.

    The Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) website is where prospective applicants can submit their online applications. In order to reach the CEE office by the deadline, a hard copy of the completed application form and photocopies of all pertinent documents must also be sent.

    For admission to MBBS programmes, all government quota candidates must attend KEAM counselling. Candidates under the management quota or NRIs may apply via the institute-level admissions process.

    Key Points for MBBS Admission:

    • Candidates must have taken English as a subject in their 10+2 year and received at least a 60% grade in it.
    • Candidates with degrees or diplomas from foreign universities who are NRIs or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) must be able to show an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
    • Candidates who will be taking their qualifying exam in their final year in March or April are also eligible to apply as long as they can submit their qualifying degree or certificate by the deadline.

    Travancore Medical College PG Admission:

    Anesthesiology, general medicine, and obstetrics and gynaecology postgraduate level medical degree courses are offered by Travancore Medical College. The school grants Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees in both general and anesthesiology medicine. Candidates for obstetrics and gynaecology receive a Master of Surgery (MS) degree upon successful completion of the programme.

    The primary requirement for admission to the MD/ MS programmes is the possession of an MCI-approved MBBS degree from an accredited college or university. Additionally, candidates must pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test with at least a 50% score (PG). For PG admissions to medical programmes, candidates are chosen through counselling offered by CEE, Kerala.

    Key Points for PG Admission:

    • To be eligible, applicants from the SC, ST, or OBC categories must receive at least 40% on the entrance exam.
    • Candidates who are PwD/PH must receive a minimum of 45%.
    • Candidates may apply if they hold a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a medical college or institution that has been properly approved by the MCI.
    • The computer-based test (CBT) platform is used to administer NEET-PG.

    Travancore Medical College Application Process:

    Through counselling and a published rank list, CEE, Kerala fills the government quota seats at Travancore Medical College. According to institute policies, the management quota and NRI seats are filled through the institute-level admission process on the basis of merit or through an entrance exam.

    Documents Required:

    1. Proof of date of birth, SSLC/tenth standard certificate, or an equivalent Certificate Mark List for the Required Exam ( Plus Two or equivalent)
    2. Marks sheet or MBBS degree certificate, as appropriate
    3. Certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended, preferably issued within six months Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the institution last attended Marks Sheet and Admit card of the National Eligibility cum Entrance (NEET) Data sheet and Allocation Memo issued by the CEE
    4. If the candidate needs a mark reduction due to being a member of the Muslim Reservation Community or a Non-Cream Layer, a document or certificate from the appropriate authority must be submitted, as well as proof of income from the Tehsildar or Village Officer.
    5. Certificate of Medical Fitness Vaccination Record for Hepatitis, Mumps, and Chickenpox
    6. Migration certificate from candidates who passed the qualifying examination at a different institution than the Kerala Higher Secondary Board, CBSE, or ICSE, or an equivalency/eligibility certificate from the Kerala University of Health Sciences a guarantee from a nationalised bank promising to cover the full amount of the second, third, fourth, and fifth years of the program's tuition.
    7. 200 INR-worth of bonds in stamp papers, as listed in Annexures I and III (refer to prospectus)
    8. Refundable Security Deposit equal to one year's worth of tuition
    9. Ten passport-size photos of the candidate in addition to two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the aforementioned documents and certificates (one of them shall be laminated on the facing side)
