Vels University, Chennai
The Vels University in Chennai, also known as the Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in 14 different fields. According to the Times of India Engineering Survey, it is ranked fifth among the top 10 private engineering schools in Tamil Nadu, and according to Business World, it is ranked first among the top 50 private business schools in South India. The pharmacy program at NIRF 2022 is ranked 34th in India overall. The Vels University charges INR 2 lakhs for the B.Tech program and INR 1 lakh to INR 2.1 lakhs for the MBA program in annual fees. The median compensation for the B.Tech. and MBA programs was INR 3.51 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA, respectively, for the year 2022.

Vels University Admission:
In the areas of engineering, maritime studies, nautical science, coastal and ocean engineering, animation, film and television production, etc., VELS University offers a variety of UG, PG, and Research programs. The university also provides Diploma courses in a variety of specializations.
Candidates must take the VELS entrance examination (VEE) and attend counseling sessions to be considered for admission to the UG and PG programs at VELS University.
VELS University UG Admission BA, BBA:
The UG program at the university is just as unique and diverse as its professional courses. But applying to the undergraduate program at Vels University is much easier than applying to its professional programs.
There are many requirements to meet in order to be eligible for each UG course. A qualified applicant will be contacted for a personal interview by a committee appointed by the university. Additionally, admission to these courses will be determined by a personal interview and merit.

VELS University MBA Admission:
The candidates' qualifications and the grades they earned in the qualifying exam and entrance exam will determine their admission to these courses. The candidates will be contacted for a personal interview after being selected. The outcome of the interview and the overall evaluation will determine the applicant's admission standing. VELS University Application Process:
- Fill out the application completely online, attach all required documents, and pay the application fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- Alternatively, you can download the application and send it to Vels University's Registrar along with a duly filled-out DD for INR 1000 or INR 500, depending on the course.
- The properly completed application form, registration fee, and any enclosures listed on the application form should be sent to the university via registered mail.
- The additional paperwork required of international students must be attached.
