IIM Shillong 7th Executive MBA 2026: Flexible Blended Program for Working Professionals with 60+ Electives

IIM‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Shillong has launched its seventh batch of Post Graduate Program for Working Executives (PGPWE), which is an MBA degree-granting program. The institute, with a view to delivering top-notch management education, is committed to generating new ideas and supporting environment-friendly practices. It is committed to constantly improving and upgrading the skills of professionals who can obtain their degree from home and still learn.

PGPWE is a program of flexible learning that was developed in line with NEP 2020. It is a professionally-targeted program for working individuals who wish to continue their studies without compromising their work or personal life. An applicant should have at least three years of work experience after graduation and a minimum of 50% (or equivalent CGPA) in the bachelor's degree to be allowed ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌entry.

IIM Shillong MBA/PGPWE Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

The details given below in the table are the eligibility criteria and admission process for the Post Graduate Program for Working Executives (PGPWE), which is an MBA degree-granting program offered by the IIM Shillong.

Educational qualification	Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/DA candidates).
Work experience	Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience after graduation (as on 30th April, 2026).
Written test option	Working Executive Management Aptitude Test (WEMAT) covering Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
OR written test exemption	Minimum 50 percentile in CAT OR score of at least 500 in GMAT/GMAT Focus.
Basis for final selection	Merit list prepared based on performance; admissions offered as per the merit list.
CAT score considered	CAT performance of 2023 and 2024 only for the PGP-WE admission process.
GMAT score considered	Last 5 years valid GMAT score.
