TUEE Exam 2025: Application, Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus
TUEE 2025: The Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2025 application process began on 3 March 2025 and last date 30 April 2025, which was further extended to 30 May 2025. The TUEE exam will be scheduled from 1 July to 3 July 2025 for all courses other than PhD programmes. The interviews for admission into PhD courses will be held between 18 to 24 June 2025. The admit card for the TUEE 2025 exam will be released a few days before the exam, and the application fee for the exam is in the range of INR 500 to INR 1000, depending on the category of the candidates.
Eligibility for TUEE 2025 depends on the program chosen by the candidates. The general eligibility for candidates is that they must have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks from a recognised board, with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for science streams. The Ph.D. candidates need a master’s degree with at least 55% marks, and those with national-level exam qualifications like NET, GATE, or CEED may be called directly for interviews.

TUEE Exam 2025
The TUEE Exam 2025 is conducted by Tezpur University for admission into various UG, PG, diploma, and PhD programmes. The admission process consists of an application process and then the entrance exam, after which the counselling process will be started, allowing candidates to fill out their choice of course.
The application process for the exam started on 3 March 2025 and was concluded on 30 May 2025. Those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form will be able to download the admit card a few days before the exam from the official website https://www.tezu.ernet.in/academic/admission2025/. The application fee of INR 1000 will have to be paid by the general category, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates for completing the application form.
The TUEE 2025 exam will occur from 1 July 2025 to 3 July 2025 for all the courses except PhD programmes, and for PhD programmes, the interview process will start on 18 June 2025 and will go on till 24 June 2025. The entrance test will consist of 60 marks of MCQs and 40 marks of descriptive questions for departments under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. After the declaration of results, the qualified candidates will be called to take part in the counselling process, after which they will get admission into the university.
TUEE Admit Card 2025
The TUEE admit Card 2025 will be available for download on the official website https://www.tezu.ernet.in a few days before the exam, which is scheduled to be held from 1 to 3 July 2025. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application can log in using their email address and password to view their admit card. The admit card will consist of details such as the name of the candidate, exam date, time, its venue, and exam day instructions for the candidates. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID and passport-size photograph to the exam centre. Without it, entry to the examination hall will not be permitted by the authorities.
TUEE Answer Key 2025
The TUEE answer key 2025 is released by the conducting body to help students assess their performance in the exam before the official release of results. The answer key consists of the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam, and candidate can match their response with it in order to get an estimate of the marks they would score. The Tezpur University will officially release the answer key for the TUEE exam on 10 July 2025, and candidates can raise objections till 13 July 2025. The final answer key for it will be released on 17 July 2025 after assessing all the objections raised by the candidate. Candidates can also visit our website to check the answer key, which will be made public after consulting with the students who have given the exam.
TUEE Result 2025
The TUEE Result 2025 is expected to be announced in the month of July 2025 on the official site of Tezpur University https://www.tezu.ernet.in/. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their registration ID and password to view their marks scored, their rank, and their qualifying status. The result will play a crucial role in determining eligibility for counselling and final admission into various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. All the candidates who will qualify for the exam will be asked to come for the counselling process, where they will have to choose their preferred course. It’s also recommended to download and save a copy of the result for future reference during the admission process.
TUEE 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
The TUEE 2025 counselling and seat allotment process will start soon after the results are declared in July 2025. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in online counselling through the Tezpur University portal.
The counselling process includes registration, filling out preferred courses, and uploading necessary documents. Based on the rank of the candidate, their category, seat availability, and preferences, the university will release a seat allotment list. Candidates allotted a seat will be required to confirm their admission by paying the admission fee and submitting their documents within the given deadline. Failure to do so may result in seat cancellation. Multiple rounds of counselling may be held to fill remaining vacancies. For Ph.D. programs, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the personal interviews before final seat allocation.
TUEE 2025 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The TUEE 2025 exam pattern is structured to evaluate candidates’ subject knowledge, reasoning skills, and general aptitude. Most of the entrance tests will be conducted in offline mode, while a few may be held in online mode. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, and the paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from different subjects.

TUEE Eligibility Criteria 2025
Tezpur University sets the eligibility criteria for taking admission into the university, and all the candidates who want to take admission have to fulfil the mentioned eligibility criteria.
General Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Age Limit: Candidates usually need to be 17 years old, and there is no upper age limit for most programs.
Minimum Marks:
- UG Programs: At least 60% in 10+2 (relaxation for reserved categories).
- PG Programs: Minimum 50% in graduation (45% for candidates without majors/honours).
- Ph.D. Programs: Minimum 55% in postgraduation, and candidates with NET/GATE/SLET/CEED may be exempt from the written test.
Course-Wise Eligibility
Undergraduate (Integrated Programs)
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Ed. – 10+2 with 60% marks – Science stream required for B.Sc. programs
- Integrated M.A. in English – 10+2 with 60% marks – English as a subject required
- Integrated M.Com – 10+2 with 60% marks – Commerce/related subjects required
Postgraduate (PG) Programs
- M.A. in English – Graduation in English with 45% marks
- M.A. in Cultural Studies – Bachelor’s in any discipline with: – 50% marks (or 45% without honours)
- M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics – B.Sc. in the relevant subject with 50% marks
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications) – Bachelor’s with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level
- M.Tech (Various Specialisations) – B.Tech/B.E. in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks
- LLM (Master of Laws) – LL.B. or equivalent law degree with 50% marks
Doctoral Program
- Ph.D. (All Disciplines) – Master’s in a relevant field with 55% marks, and NET/GATE/CEED qualified candidates will be called for a personal interview
TUEE Application Form 2025
The TUEE 2025 application form was made available online through the official Tezpur University admissions portal https://www.tezu.ernet.in/academic/admission2025/ from 3 March 2025, with the last date to apply being 30 May 2025. The admit card for the exam will be released a few days before the exam, which is scheduled to be held from 1 to 3 July 2025.
