At IIM Rohatk students who want to take admission have to pass their bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. After that, they need to appear for the Sports Aptitude Assessment Test and Personal Interview. Candidates who cleared all the tests and eligibility criteria set by the IIM Rohtak now apply for admission through the official website and need to pay the non-refundable fee of around INR 1,000. Candidates who appeared for CAT 2025 have a chance to apply for admission.

Before the final step in the admission process CAT 2025 (Common Admission Test) is the only medium to take admission into the management courses of IIM Rohtak. Admission for the academic year 2025-27 is based on the CAT 2025 scores, which have already been submitted.

IIM Rohtak PGP Admission 2026

The admission process of IIM Rohtak’s PGP course requires candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria, have a valid CAT score and be present for the personal interview. Step 1. Register for the CAT 2025 examination, which will be held on 30 November 2025. Only candidates who have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% marks can appear for the CAT examination. 

Step 2. After the announcement of CAT 2025 results, candidates who score more than the minimum required marks, which are mentioned in the following table. These qualified candidates will then be invited for the further selection rounds.

Step 3. Qualified candidates will be called in for a personal interview. The university-appointed interviewer will ask questions on the candidate’s interest in the field of business, their personal goals, general knowledge related to the industry, and their analytical abilities. 

Step 4. A merit list will be made according to the candidate’s score in CAT, personal interview performance and the diversity score. All of these elements have different weightage in the final decision-making. The weightage of each component is mentioned in the following table. 

Step 5. A provisional admission will be issued based on the merit list. Candidates need to accept the offered seat by paying the admission fee. Candidates will receive an email from pgpadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in.They will receive this provisional admission email on the same ID that was submitted during the registration process.

Step 6. Selected candidates will be required to report to the college and verify their documents, which were previously submitted, to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. Along with that, students will also be allotted hostel accommodation during this stage. 

IIM Rohtak PGDM Admission 2026

Candidates interested in pursuing an Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management need to register on the official website of IIM Rohtak. To do so, they will be required to pay a fee that costs INR 1000. Once the candidate is registered on the official website, they will be called in for a Sports Aptitude Assessment Test and personal interview. 

Before registering on the official website, applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set for the program. The eligibility criteria require candidates to have a bachelor’s degree or any equivalent certification from an accredited institute with 50% marks. IIM Rohtak (Indian Institute of Management Rohtak) is offering courses like PGP, IPM and PGPX, etc. Eligibility and Selection criteria for each course are different. For PGP, the eligibility criteria are a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, and the selection process is based on the cumulative marks obtained in CAT (60%), PI (20%) and Academic and Gender Diversity (20%). IIM Rohtak Cutoff 2025

To get admission to IIM Rohtak, candidates need to score equal to or more than the minimum cutoff of the CAT examination. In the year 2024 the minimum cut-off marks for the general category students are 381 and the CAT percentile cut-off is 97 for PGP courses. Similarly, for the EWS category it is 331 and 93 minimum marks and cut off respectively. Minimum cutoff marks and CAT percentile vary according to the candidate’s category and yearly trends.
