AIIMS MSc Biotechnology Application Form 2026: Apply Online, Date, Fee

The online registration process for MSc Biotechnology started from April 2026 (Tentative), and the closing date is May 2026 (Tentative). The AIIMS MSc Exam 2026 will be released on 13 June 2026, and the results will be declared by 20 June 2026. AIIMS Delhi offers a Master's in Biotechnology program, which is a two-year postgraduate degree that focuses on the application of biological principles in various fields. Additionally, the institute has a student intake capacity of 18 students. 

Candidates applying for this exam require a Bachelor’s degree with a background in B.Sc. in Life Sciences, B.Tech in Biotechnology, or an MBBS degree. Along with this, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC and ST) from a recognised university.

The online application window for the AIIMS MSc Biotechnology 2026 opened on April 2026 (Tentative), and the closing date is May 2025 (Tentative). The exam is set to happen on 13 June 2026, and the results will be out by 20 June 2026. All those candidates who want to apply for the exam must submit the online application available at the website: www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Additionally, the candidates must fill out the form correctly, as the institute will not be responsible for any incorrect information or cancellation of the application form due to incorrect details.

The Master of Biotechnology (M. Biotech) is a two-year program accredited by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, India. Candidates who have a BSc in Biotechnology or a related field such as Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry. 

Candidates who want to apply for MSc Biotechnology should have a Bachelor’s degree in B. Sc. in Life Sciences, MBBS, or a B.Tech in Biotechnology. Once they qualify for this program, candidates will develop an aptitude for academic and research training in modern biotechnology.

How to Fill Out the AIIMS MSc Biotechnology Application Form 2025?

Step 1: Visit the official website: www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the online registration link by entering your name, email ID, and mobile number.

Step 3: Once the registration, you will receive your login ID and password on your registered email and phone number.

Step 4: Log in and fill out all the sections of the application form. 

Step 5: After completely filling the application form, upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, or any other required documents according to the size and format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee using any one of the payment methods, such as Net Banking, Credit card, Debit Card, or UPI.

AIIMS MSc Biotechnology Documents Required

  • A recent scanned copy of the passport-size photograph in the size and format mentioned.
  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Valid ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/ Driving License.
  • Certificates showcasing educational qualifications, such as a degree marksheet and certificate.
  • Category certificate applicable for candidates belonging to OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwBD.

AIIMS MSc Biotechnology Application Correction Window

AIIMS MSc Biotechnology application correction window is opened from May 2026*. Candidates can edit fields such as photograph, signature, address details, uploaded certificates, exam city choices, educational qualifications, and thumb impressions.

It helped those candidates who mistakenly filled in the wrong information in the application form and noticed it afterwards, after submitting the form. The correction window will help them to rectify the mistake and correct the form for the last time. Hence, some fields are not allowed to change in the correction window as well.

Step 3: Candidates can make the changes in the application form and re-upload their scanned images and signature in the dimensions specified in the guidelines.

Step 4: After making changes, candidates can submit the application form.

Step 5: Once the changes are made and they are reflected in the application, candidates can download a copy of the application.
