Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences (ASRAMS) was started in 2000 and is situated in Vijayawada, Visakapatnam Road, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. NAAC has given this college with  Grade "A" and it is also certified by ISO. This college has 5 digital lecture halls, which are designed to provide advanced learning through modern equipment like projectors and smartboards. This medical college take admission through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for both UG and PG level and every year after the exam the registration and counselling process starts in August.

This college offers both MBBS  and MD courses in many special subjects, with 158 seats available every year. To get admitted, students must have at least 50% marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in their 12th grade to apply for the NEET exam. The MBBS course lasts 4 years and 6 months, plus a 1-year mandatory internship. For MD courses, students must have an MBBS degree and pass the NEET PG exam. The duration of the MD course is 3 years. Fees for the courses vary a lot depending on the category of admission. For MBBS, fees can range from INR 1,71,500 to 41,35,000 per year, depending on the quota and category. MD course fees also range from INR 1,40,380 to 58,20,000 per annum based on the type of category and course.

ASRAM Medical College Application Process 2025

Candidates must apply for NEET-UG and NEET-PG online. Admission to MBBS and MD/MS courses is given through NEET, which is administered by CBSE and NBE, respectively. Following the announcement of the results, qualified and eligible candidates must apply for counselling and report to the allotted college to complete the admission procedure. Candidates interested in Nursing programmes must apply offline and download or collect an application form from the college office.

Unique Open Air Theatre- The academy's open-air theatre is an intriguing premise set up in a large area for running educational and recreational films. These films are used as a mode to give students a chance to learn in a completely different way, so that classroom sessions do not become monotonous. This theatre has a remarkable capacity of approximately 1000 people.

Continuous hostel and cafeteria services are provided- The college has established two separate areas for the accommodation of girls and boys. This includes a kitchen, dining halls, as well as a constant supply of water and electricity. They have a separate housing facility for NRI students. There is also a cafeteria on the premises that is open 24 hours a day.

Amazing Campus Security- The academy's security is quite tight, with approximately 200 cameras installed on campus. These cameras are linked to the central CCTV system, allowing for 24-hour surveillance.

Central Library- There is a Central Library on the college grounds with a diverse book collection that includes 19,017 textbooks. Aside from them, the library collection includes a large number of journals, including 75 Indian journals and 46 foreign journals. The library also has 600 online journals in its online E-Journals programme.

Accommodation Facilities: Separate hostels for male and female students are available, each with a shared kitchen and dining area. There is a prestigious air-conditioned hostel for NRI students. All of the hostels have 24 hour power and water supply. The food prepared in the kitchens is nutritious and delicious. There is a wide variety of cuisine available.

Cafeteria- A modern 24-hour cafeteria is located near the Hospital building on campus. The canteen serves a variety of snacks and refreshments.
