Bihar NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Rank Card Released, Round-1 Schedule Announced

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has started the first phase of medical counselling in Bihar by releasing the PGMAC-2025 rank card. So, the Bihar NEET PG counselling 2025 has officially started. Now, candidates will be able to download their rank cards and get ready for the seat allotment process.

The file can be located on the official counselling portal with the help of a candidate's PGMAC ID and date of birth. BCECEB has also announced that the first round seat allotment result will be out on November 26, 2025. After that, the document verification and admission formalities will be from November 28 to December 1, 2025. The timetable sets out a well-organised and detailed plan for those who want to get a seat for MD, MS, and PG diplomas in government and private colleges of the state.

Documents Required for Verification

BCECEB has made in-person document verification compulsory for confirming a candidate’s allotted seat. Applicants must present original documents along with self-attested photocopies. The required documents include:

  • NEET PG 2025 scorecard

  • PGMAC 2025 rank card

  • MBBS degree or provisional completion certificate

  • All MBBS academic mark sheets

  • Internship completion certificate

  • Bihar domicile certificate (for state quota applicants)

  • Category or EWS certificate (if applicable)

  • Government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport

In‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ case there are differences or some documents are missing, your application will be dropped right away without checking any further. That is why candidates must make sure that all their certificates are legitimate, recent, and that they have them ready long before the day of verification.

What will happen after the first round of allocation?

After the completion of the first round, BCECEB will announce the details of the unoccupied seats and start the counselling phases. Depending on availability, the following rounds will be conducted:

  • Round-2 counselling

  • Mop-up round

  • Stray vacancy round for unfilled seats

Those‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ candidates who fail to get a seat in the first round will be eligible for the next rounds automatically, without the need for re-registration. The ones who get a seat and want to upgrade might have to comply with the BCECEB directions related to giving up a seat, filling in the choice, and sending the documents again if it is a location. Besides that, the board will make the changes known through the release of updates ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌including:

  • Revised seat matrices

  • Cut-off ranks for each round

  • Lists of eligible colleges and specialities

  • Candidate instructions for the Round-2 and mop-up stages

These announcements help candidates refine their preferences and make informed decisions during the option-filling stage.
