The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode is going to release the CAT 2025 Admit Card on November 5, 2025, at 5 PM. The CAT 2025 exam is going to be conducted on November 30, 2025, in computer-based test mode (CBT) at 375 exam centres in about 170 cities across India. 

Candidates appearing for the exam can download their CAT 2025 Hall Ticket by logging into the official login portal with their User ID and Password. The Hall ticket is a mandatory document for entrance to the examination centre. CAT Admit Card 2025 Issued

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the very best and most sought-after management entrance examination in India. It is administered annually on a rotational basis by one of the IIMs. The responsibility for the CAT 2025 will lie with IIM Kozhikode. 

The Hall Ticket will contain important information like:

• Candidate’s name and registered number.

• Exam date, shift, and centre address.

• Reporting time and gate closure time for the exam.

• Important instructions on the exam day.

CAT Admit Card 2025 Direct Download Link

The download link for the CAT 2025 Admit Card will be active on November 5 on the official IIM CAT website. It is also recommended that the candidates download their hall ticket shortly after it is posted on the official site iimcat.ac.in because the site will be very busy during the actual exam.

Once you download, make sure to save a copy to your devices and print multiple copies for the day of the exam. Make sure to take a printed copy of the admit card with you to the test centre to verify your identity and gain entrance.

Step-by-Step Guide to Download the CAT Admit Card 2025

Candidates can follow the step-wise process below to download the hall ticket without any hassle:

Step 1. Open the official IIM CAT Website iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2. Click on the “Registered Candidate Login” link.

Step 3. Type your User ID and Password into the respective fields.

Step 4. Once you're logged in, click on the “Download Admit Card” link.

Step 5. Save the admit card as a PDF on your device.

Step 6. Print two copies of your admit card for your exam day.

We recommend that you use a desktop/laptop browser to download the admit card as opposed to your mobile device to avoid formatting issues.

How to Recover a Lost CAT Admit Card 2025

Candidates can easily recover their downloaded admit card from the official website if they misplace or delete it before the date of the exam.

Re-downloading steps:

• Go to iimcat.ac.in.

• Select “Registered Candidate Login.”

• Enter your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.

• Click on “Download Admit Card.”

• Save and print again.

Candidates should also email it to themselves or save it in a cloud drive so they can easily access it.

What in case you forgot your Login Password?

If a candidate forgot their User ID or Password, they can retrieve it by: 

• Choose the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page.

• Enter their registered email ID or registered mobile number.

• Follow the link sent by IIM CAT to reset your credentials.

Without a valid credential login, you will not be able to download the CAT admit card, so recovering this in advance is recommended.

The CAT 2025 Admit Card contains all the important details the candidates need to appear for the examination. Candidates must verify all of the details carefully.

• Candidate's name in full
• CAT Registration Number/User ID

How to Solve Errors While Downloading the CAT Admit Card 2025 

Candidates may encounter problems such as download time, speed or a blank screen due to the traffic overload of the server. Here’s what to do: 

1. Simply re-attempt after clearing your browser cache or using a different browser, such as Google Chrome or Edge.

2.  Do not use mobile browsers; use a laptop/PC for the process. It will accelerate the downloading process, as well.

3.  If the server is down due to the traffic, wait for 10-15 minutes before trying again.

Documents to Bring on CAT Exam Day

On the day of the examination, candidates must bring the following items to the examination centre:

Required:

• Printed the CAT 2025 admit card.
• Two Passport-Size Photos (same as the admit card)
• The original photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID/Driving Licence) is required.
• Transparent water bottle

Forbidden:

• Cell phones, watches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets.
• Food, snacks, and accessories, other than medical items
• Any breach of the above regulations may result in disqualification.
• Bags, wallets, notes, and stationery.

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Format

The CAT 2025 examination will be delivered in computer-based form and consist of 3 subjects, according to the latest pattern.

There will be no negative marking for Non-MCQs (TITA - Type in The Answer). Candidates will have to manage their time by respective sections, as they cannot switch between sections.

CAT 2025 Test Centres

The test will be held at more than 170 test cities across the country. Candidates will be allotted a centre based on their preferences filled in the registration form. The exact address of the centre and centre code will be printed on the admit card.

Candidates are advised to visit their centre one day before the examination to get a sense of travel time and avoid any confusion on the test day.

Key Instructions for Examinations Day

• A photograph must be submitted at least 90 minutes before the allotment slot.
• Only acceptable documents and items must be taken into the test (acceptable documents correspond to the requirements put forward in the registration phase).
• All examinees are required to go through a biometric verification, and all examinees will be subject to a security check. 
• There will be no entry once the examination slot starts.
• All COVID and security protocols will have to be strictly adhered to.

Post Exam: What is Next? 

IIM Kozhikode will release the CAT 2025 Answer Key and Response Sheet in December 2025, and the CAT Result 2025 in January 2026.

Eligible candidates will go to the WAT (Written Ability Test), GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) phases of the admission process for the IIMs and other top management institutes.
