CAT Application Form 2025 Out: The CAT 2025 application form process is closed as the registration starts from 1 August 2025 to 20 September 2025 at the official website 'iimcat.ac.in'. The CAT Exam 2025 will be scheduled to be held on 30 November 2025. Aspiring students are the first step to pursue an MBA from famous IIMs and top B-schools in India. CAT Application Form 2025

The CAT 2025 Application Form has been released on 1 August 2025 at 10:00 PM, and the last date to fill out the application is 20 September 2025 at 5:00 PM. The students can find the registration Form for the CAT exam on the official website of IIM, iimcat.ac.in. Students can fill all personal details in the CAT application such as candidate, academic information, city preference, selected program, passport-size photo, and a scanned copy of the signature. Students who successfully paid the application fee on time will be eligible to make corrections (if any) during the application correction window. 

The CAT application form fee 2025 is set at INR 2600 for all students belonging to the general and non-reserved categories. For students with valid reservation certificates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category, the application fee is set at INR 1300. There is no upper limit for the candidates to apply for the CAT 2025 exam, and all the candidates who have completed their graduation can apply. Also, students who are currently in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply. The graduation program must be a minimum of 3 years in duration. 

CAT 2025 Application Fee

Candidates need to submit the application fee at the last step after filling out the details in the form. Noted that aspirants only have to pay the application fee once, irrespective of the number of institutions they are applying to. Candidates can apply to multiple IIMs to gain admission with only one form. How to fill out the CAT Application Form 2025?

CAT 2025 will be conducted for admission into the top management institutes of India, which include the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Candidates who want to study courses like PGP, PGDM, or MBA at the IIMs need to first clear the ‘Common Admission Test’ (CAT) with a qualifying score. Not only IIMs, but there are also some non-IIMs as well that accept admission into the management courses through CAT 2025. There are two different ways to register for the CAT 2025:

1. Registered Candidate Login: With this link, candidates who have already created their account on the website can now start their application form.

2. Registration of Non-IIM Institutions: If some candidates want to get admission to institutions other than IIMs, they need to register with this link.

Here is the detailed information about how to register for the CAT 2025 with both links:

1. Registration process for IIMs

Step 1: First of all, candidates need to visit the site iimcat.ac.in. It is advisable to do the registration process through a laptop or computer instead of a phone for more convenience and comfort. Once the candidates visit the page, the homepage will open on the screen.

Step 2: Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ to initiate the application form. Candidates first need to register themselves.

Step 3: The Registration window will open on the screen. Candidates need to fill out the information like Name, Email Address, Phone number and date of birth. After filling in of details, now click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button.

Step 4: After the successful email and phone number verification through the OTP, sent to the provided email address and mobile number, candidates will now be able to start their application form.

Step 5: Now go back to the ‘CAT 2025’ home page, and click on ‘Registered Candidate Login’.

Step 6: A ‘candidate login’ window will open on the screen, where aspirants need to submit information User ID and password, which they created at the time of registration.

Step 7: After logging into the system, an application will open for the candidate. To complete the application form, candidates need to fill out information like their academic qualifications, personal details, and upload scanned documents in the required size to support the information they have entered.

Step 8: At last, candidates have to pay the application fee as per their categories through online mode via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

2. Registration Process for Non-IIMs 

Step 1: On the same home page, there is a portal ‘Registration for Non-IIMs’. Candidates need to use that for the registration process. 

Step 2: Once the candidates get themselves registered with the given link, now follow the same steps as mentioned above for the application process.

Note: Candidates are advised to apply for both IIMs and non-IIMs.

Documents Required for CAT Exam 2025 

For completing the CAT application form, candidates need to submit several documents, including a photograph and a signature, academic mark sheets and certificates, identity proof, and category certificates. 

• Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph in 30mm x 45mm, up to 80KB and JPEG/JPG format. 
• Signature: A scanned signature in 80mm x 35mm and JPEG/JPG format, with a maximum file size of 80KB. 
• Class 10, 12, and Graduation Mark Sheets/Certificates
• Date of birth certificate or Class 10 mark sheet. 
• Aadhaar card, Voter ID, College ID, Employer ID, Driving license, Passport, or PAN card. 

• Category Certificate for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and PwD.
• Work Experience Certificate, like appointment letters or salary slips. 
• Payment Details: Credit/debit card or net banking details for paying the application fee.

CAT 2025 Application Correction Window 

CAT 2025 correction window dates have yet to be released. Once the registration cycle closes, the authorities will release the dates for the same. The CAT 2025 correction window is to be released on 4 October 2025 to 7 October 2025. Candidates can edit fields like photographs and test cities, while fields like name and email address are not editable. So, to avoid any mistakes in the application form, aspirants need to act more carefully. Before submitting the form and paying the application fee, candidates can make changes in the form as many times as they want, so fill review the form before paying the fee.
