CLAT 2026: Admit Cards Released for UG and PG, Know How To Download

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) have released the admit cards for the undergraduate and the postgraduate Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026, which is going to be held on December 7, 2025. Candidates registered for the exam can download their hall tickets from the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in by logging in with the registered mobile number and password.

An applicant, after getting the admit card, should definitely check all the information, such as the examination centre, the time of reporting, and the instructions for the day of the test. The timing of the CLAT Exam 2026 UG and PG exams is from 2 pm to 4 pm.

CLAT 2026 Admit Card Download Steps

Candidates can refer to the following steps given below in order to download the CLAT 2026 Admit Card:


Step 1: Visit the CLAT official website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Navigate to the homepage and select the link ‘CLAT 2026 Admit Card’.

Step 3: Fill out the registered mobile number and password. 

Step 4: Access the PDF of the Admit Card, which will appear on the screen. 

Step 5: Save and print out a copy of the Admit Card to be taken on the day of the examination.

Kindly note, if the candidates have registered, they are allowed to download the hall tickets with the help of credentials, following the instructions mentioned on the official portal. They must also remember that if they reach their examination centres after the scheduled time, they will not be allowed to enter. Also, a valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory along with the admit card. Things such as notes, books, or any other material are strictly prohibited and should not be taken into the exam hall under any circumstances.

Documents Required on Exam Day

On the day of the examination, a printed copy of the CLAT 2026 admit card, together with a valid photo identification such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License, needs to be in the possession of the candidates. They should also bring exam authority-approved pens if required by the exam authority and any other documents if specified in the instructions of the admit card.

CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern

CLAT 2026 will be composed of 120 multiple-choice questions with a total score of 120 marks. The paper will have five major parts: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. For each correct response, one mark will be awarded, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be ​‍​‌‍​‍‌deducted.
