CLAT 2026 Lucknow Test Centre Changed: Download Revised Admit Card Now

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released an important update for the candidates of CLAT 2026 in Lucknow. Just a few days before the national-level exam that is scheduled for December 7, 2026, the Consortium has changed the test centre for a large number of candidates. These changes are already reflected in the newly released admit cards.


As per the notice dated November 28, 2025, candidates who were initially assigned Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Girls PG College, Sector 11, Rajajipuram will now have to take the exam to take their exam at a new centre. The new centre allotted to them is Lucknow Public College, A-Block, Rajajipuram, Lucknow- 226017


As per the Consortium, the centre change has been implemented to facilitate a more comfortable and better-managed exam. All the affected candidates should download their updated CLAT 2026 Admit Card from the website using their registered mobile number and ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌password.

How​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ to Download the Revised CLAT 2026 Admit Card?

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Consortium announced that they will not accept old admit cards at the new exam centre. Students are required to have the printed copy of the updated CLAT admit card along with a government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, or passport. Without these papers, they will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.


Candidates​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ who were first given the instruction to appear for the examination at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Girls PG College, Sector 11, Rajajipuram (as per the notice dated November 28, 2025), are now informed that their examination will be held at a different centre. Lucknow Public College, A-Block, Rajajipuram, Lucknow- ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌226017. Candidates may obtain their revised admit cards by performing the following steps:


Step 1: Visit the official CLAT website.

Step 2: Use your registered mobile number and password to log in.

Step 3: Select the "Download Admit Card" tab.

Step 4: Download the document and print a copy to bring with you on exam day.

Other​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Details for CLAT 2026 Exam Day 

The CLAT 2026 Exam will take place on 7 December 2026, between 2 and 4 PM. Those candidates who fall under the category of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will be granted an extra time of 40 minutes to complete the test. The Consortium has suggested that candidates should be at the exam centre much before the time of their reporting to be free of any last-minute trouble. The notification of this year emphasises once again that the candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the admit card and official ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌communication.
